WhatsApp delivery also depends on Meta. During a Meta outage, WAFlow queues and retries messages automatically — nothing is dropped.

Recent incidents

2 August 2026

Delayed campaign delivery (42 minutes)

A queue backlog delayed scheduled broadcasts. All messages were sent, none were lost. We increased worker concurrency and added queue-depth alerting.

17 June 2026

Meta Cloud API upstream degradation

Meta reported elevated error rates for message sending in several regions. WAFlow retried automatically; delivery recovered when Meta resolved the incident.

3 May 2026

Template status sync lag

Template approval statuses updated up to 20 minutes late due to a webhook subscription change. Fixed by re-subscribing and backfilling statuses.
